Dave is a Director with responsibility for leading Sunera’s practice in Toronto. He has over fifteen years experience in corporate finance, strategy development, accounting and auditing, having held progressive financial leadership positions in publicly traded organizations, within the steel, automotive, aerospace and consumer products segments.
Most recently, Dave independently advised in areas of Sarbanes-Oxley and Canadian-SOx compliance, for several large multinational US and Canadian public companies in the food, telecommunications, financial services and engineering industries. His experiences include leading the design and execution of transactional, entity-level, and systems application controls auditing, as well as establishing standards for quality assurance, control deficiency remediation, policy and procedural documentation.
Dave is a Certified General Accountant (CGA) and holds finance and accounting undergraduate and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario.
