David is the Dallas Office Managing Director and leads the firm's Project Risk Management services. He has over 22 years of Technology Risk Management experience, including 10 years of consulting with the "Big Four".
Prior to joining Sunera, David was the Managing Partner of Sequoia Advisors, a Director of Technology Risk Management services for Grant Thornton LLP, and the Regional Partner-In-Charge of the Technology Assurance & Advisory Services Practice for UHY Advisors. Furthermore, while employed with KPMG LLP, he was the National Project Risk Management Champion, a National Application Business System Controls Champion, and a member of the national Sarbanes-Oxley Training team.
David has performed over 16,000 hours of ERP-related services for SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Hyperion. In addition, he has over 6,000 hours of Sarbanes-Oxley advisory experience. David has performed over 200 financial statement audits, 100 SAS 70 audits, and 200 IT general control audits of networks, databases, applications, and operating systems. Finally, he has participated in 50 Federal, State and local government audits.
