Lumigent Overview

Sunera has teamed with Lumigent to assist our clients in meeting the database auditing and security requirements posed by many of today’s regulations and standards, including PCI, HIPAA, and Sarbanes-Oxley. Lumigent Audit DB software continuously audits and monitors for abuse of information security policies as well as inappropriate access and use of sensitive data. Lumigent combines database auditing and security assessment functionality into one solution that answer’s the following important questions: “What happened to the data?” and “How did it happen?”

The activity monitoring module of Audit DB delivers continuous, automated auditing of database activity to give you a complete understanding of “who’s doing what with your data.” The audit trail is tamperproof and cannot be circumvented even by privileged users with direct access to database assets. Audit DB stores the “before and after” details, which are critical in an audit and can save time in the event of an investigation.

The assessment module of Audit DB provides a continuous database assessment of user access entitlements, security configurations, and vulnerabilities/exploits.

Our People

Sunera’s Lumigent Audit DB team includes the following professionals:

• Field Engineers (FE’s): Field engineers are responsible for installing or upgrading Lumigent Audit DB software. They have the technical skills required to deploy Audit DB on Microsoft Windows or UNIX Servers for SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and DB2 RDBMs. In addition, our engineers can troubleshoot firewall, network, database and desktop issues.
• Internal Control & Security Experts: We have a team of Certified Information Systems Auditors (CISA’s) that can design database security and controls (e.g., SoD rules), assess significance of access violations, identify controls within an organization to compensate for SoD conflicts, prepare plans to remediate user access violations and database security vulnerabilities, and coordinate remediation efforts with IT and business process owners.
