We are looking for IT Consultants, Senior Consultants, Managers and Directors, with two or more years of experience, to service our existing and potential clients. Prospective candidates will have the opportunity to provide services related to IT project management, business continuity, information security, privacy, network infrastructure, ERP controls and integration, IT process improvement, and Sarbanes-Oxley IT controls/processes to name a few. As such, the individuals we are seeking should possess strong and diverse technology backgrounds. Management level candidates should have the experience and technical skills required to oversee, train and mentor technical staff and understand our client’s requirements as they pertain to any of the above services.


Duties & Responsibilities:


The ideal candidates will have the capacity for adapting to the dynamic and diverse services desired by our Fortune 1000 clients. The responsibilities that you will be given will make the most of your strengths and experience. You will be challenged to continue to develop professionally in a supportive, entrepreneurial, people-first atmosphere. Duties may include:


  • Assisting with ERP (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, JD Edwards) related projects including readiness and optimization assessments, security and controls assessments, and integrations.
  • Assisting with information security projects including perimeter and network vulnerability assessments and security solution implementations (e.g., firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, IdM).
  • Assisting with business continuity and disaster recovery planning projects.
  • Assisting with IT project management including project planning, system/vendor selections, readiness assessments, and quality assurance.
  • Designing, documenting, testing and remediating IT process controls in a wide range of environments, including web, client/server, AS/400 and mainframe. These controls include the policies and procedures that address key areas of an IT organization, including System Development, Change Management, Network Security, and Operations.
  • Preparing reports and other deliverables that contain strategy, project or technical analysis and findings in connection with our consulting engagements and communicating those results to the team and client management.
  • Delivering and managing partial and large-scale Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and testing projects.
  • Interacting effectively with co-workers and clients at all levels, as to foster and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Gain exposure to senior management within the IT departments of Fortune 1000 clients.
  • Travel, as needed, up to 30%.

Experience & Qualifications:


The ideal candidate should have:


  • Qualities such as team-focus, dedication, resourcefulness, and an eagerness to learn.
  • At least 2 years of IT experience and a detailed knowledge of ERPs, databases, operating systems or networks.
  • A degree or certificate in MIS, accounting, finance, computer science or a related field.
  • Obtained or working towards a CISSP, CISA, CBCP, CISM, PMP or CPA or similar designation is preferred.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products, (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation & Benefits:


Sunera’s total compensation package is attractive and commensurate with experience. Our standard package includes, but is not limited to a competitive base salary, attractive performance bonus arrangements, ongoing training reimbursements and a full suite of benefits and paid vacation.
