The Opportunity
Sunera, a full service business and technology risk management consulting firm with headquarters in Tampa, Florida, is seeking individuals interested in entering the professional services consulting field in a sales capactiy. Candidates must be able to prospect, develop relationships with new customers, and follow-up on sales leads. The successful candidate will qualify accounts to assist in the increase of pipeline opportunities through a combination of cold calling and warm response management and prospecting activities. The representative will be telephone based; the person in this role will identify and qualify opportunities and set meetings for Partners and National Business Development Director in specific Sunera offices located throughout North America.
Principal Responsibilities & Job Tasks
- Make outbound calls to prospect, qualify and convert new business in an effort to aid various Partners & Director of Business Development
- Make a set minimum of outbound calls per day to enhance lead generation
- Meet quota for monthly appointment setting goals
- Prospect and profile potential accounts via telephone and email
- Utilize phone, email and web tools to effectively communicate our firm's services
- Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate data
- Understand Sunera's wide ranging services as a business & technology risk management consulting firm
Experience & Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and business relationship development skills required
- The ability to articulate & interact effectively with a high degree of confidence to C-level executives (CFO, CIO, Internal Audit Director, Chief Security Officer, IT Director)
- Ability to complete a full sales cycle including open & close process
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree a plus
- 1-3 years of previous inside sales experience preferred but not required, preferably in the IT Information Security industry
- Excellent written and oral communication skills via phone and email
- Strong ability to actively listen and determine prospect's needs
- Understand how to deliver a compelling message to a business executive and leverage interest into an opportunity
- Motivated, self-starter, goal-oriented, ability to multi-task, with high sense of urgency
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at once (flexible and self-sufficient)
- Team player who works well across departments
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office and web browsers
