Emmett is a founding member of Sunera LLC. Prior to Sunera, Emmett was a Partner with KPMG providing risk-based consulting services for the South Florida region. He has 19 years of work experience including 10 years with KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers in the United States and Canada. Emmett is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Prior to public accounting, Emmett held information technology audit and accounting positions within the Oil & Gas industry.
He has led a variety of consulting and audit projects over the years within the fields of Strategic Business Consulting, IT Advisory, Internal Audit, IT Audit, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, Information Security, Data Privacy, ERP Stabilization & QA, Project Risk Management and Financial Audit. His industry expertise includes transportation, oil & gas, manufacturing, retail and distribution.
Emmett is currently the President of the Miami Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
